THE ROSE ARCHIVES serve as a valuable tool for instruction and research. THE ROSE ARCHIVES are available to students, designers and academic staff for research and demonstrations.
A didactic collection, students in the Textile and Fashion Design programs benefit from the Archives throughout the year. Costumes and textiles are used during lectures to illustrate pertinent points concerning design, as well as construction details and their relation to the social, technological and cultural aspects.
Classes tailored to the interests of the design departments are held regularly, focusing on various aspects such as: the history of costumes and textiles, techniques, construction and design.
