These days, Keren Wangenheim is busier than her friends, alumni of the Department of Textile Design at Shenkar. Not only did she manage to register a worldwide patent of a new material she developed, “Texoplast”; Wangenheim also established a company and is now raising the first capital for the new start-up.

Designer Tal Lancman, an alumnus of Shenkar College, recently led a seminar for fashion design students there. Lancman’s visit and the seminar, which he called “Realism”, was initiated by Leah Perez, the Head of the Department of Fashion Design.
